George creates each bass jig by hand like a small work of art. First he casts the jig head in lead from one of three different size molds, which determines the weight of the jig. While the shape of any jig head can vary, George uses a mold similar to that of his father because experience has taught him what works.

Next he hand-paints each jig, adding a primer then two coats of paint and two coats of clear coat, giving it a luster and quality that lasts.

Finally he adds the weed guards and skirt to finish the piece. Some colors of skirts chosen by George have been handed down for generations while the rest have been developed over his lifetime.

George's Jigs are only sold and delivered within the United States
